Steam injection from Centrax allows you to choose the steam/electricity balance to optimise your combined heat and power installation.

Centrax has many years of experience in steam injection of gas turbines. The option of either partial nozzle steam injection using the 501KN5/7 turbine or complete casing steam injection using 501KH variants is available.

KN5/KN7 Nozzle steam injection Nozzle steam injection is available for Centrax KB5 and KB7 packages using the Rolls-Royce 501KN range. It is an ideal solution for emissions control and also has the added advantage of an increased power output.

Nozzle steam injection can reduce NOx emissions by up to 70% and can increase power by up to 14%.
