CAD/CAM facilities can accept customer’s aerofoil data for translation into CNC machining programmes. IGES, DXF, Varimetrix format for CAD/CAM can be used to respond quickly to both original customer enquiries and customer drawing revisions.

Computer controlled electronic gauging is extensively used and both multi-probe and CMM facilities are available with SPC capability.

Unique Centrax cutter technology and special CNC programming techniques are used to machine components in aluminium, stainless steel, nickel based alloys and titanium.

The CNC aerofoil polishing machine is an example of Centrax’s capability to design and manufacture machinery which generates a first class product, cost effectively. This, in combination with innovative and effective machining techniques, yields the high quality product demanded by our customers. Comprehensive ancillary process and NDT facilities are available in-house.
